Lotte World Premium Tower

The 123-story Lotte World Premium Tower is expected to rise higher than One World Trade Center in New York City.  It is expected to be completed in 2015. The construction started in November 2011, after 13 years of planning and site preparation. It is located near the Han river and will contain 6 floors of retail, 54 floors of offices, 24 floors of residences, 32 floors of hotels, three public access floors and an observation deck.

“The conceptual design calls for a slender cone with convex, gently curved sides. An exterior of pale-colored glass draws inspiration from Korean ceramics and features accents of metal filigree.”
